Easy Nail Care Tips for Happy Nails

1. Hydration is key to healthy nails.  Apply a nourishing hand cream and cuticle oil regularly to keep your nails and skin hydrated.  This prevents dryness and brittleness.

2. Keep nails clean, dry and away from harsh chemicals.  Always wear gloves when doing household chores such as washing dishes and gardening.

3. Treat your nails to a DIY healthy at home easy soak.  Mix 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl. Soak your fingertips for 10 - 15 minutes, then rinse and pat dry.  You can also use a cotton wool ball to apply the mixture directly onto your nails and cuticles if you prefer. Olive oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants to help moisturise and strengthen nails.  Lemon juice is a natural brightening agent that can cleanse and help remove stains and yellowing from your nails.  You can do this soak 1-2 times a week for best results!
